Botanic Gardens

  L.I - W.A.L.T. - write a recount using describing words about our botanic garden trip. 
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I  write a recount about Botanic Gardens and publish it in the blog.                                                                                                  

                                                     Botanic   Gardens

 Awesome! I went to botanic gardens with my school. First we had morning tea. Then we went to see some herbs that some of them our teacher said we could eat . I think it was green mint. After that we went to see some unusual flowers, some were whitish and some were blackish. 

The best part of the day for me, was when we went to see the ducks. One of the ducks was unusual and a bit scary because its quack sounds  like a laugh. Next we went with Sarah to the class room. We  looked at worms  with magnifying glasses. Then we held the worms. Next we had yoghurt containers with soil and we planted the seeds in them. 

After that we planted some real plants in a garden.  (I think I planted a carrot) Later we looked in some compost. We saw bugs, worms, and banana skins in the compost.  I held one of the bugs until my teacher said it could bite.I had great day.

Dear Gitta,
              
Thank you Gitta for setting up the delicious healthy lunch for us. I really liked the chicken sandwich. The oat cookie was nice with melted chocolate.  The desert was scrumptious, the yoghurt and the jam was a delicious mix.

 The savoury dumpling was yummy with carrots and meat. The lunch was delicious I couldn't wait till lunch time. My favourite was the chicken. I really liked the bread and the chicken.
