Are Olympics important

Olympics are important because many people from different countries come to win a medal.          Torch bearers are important cause they light the  cauldron to begin the Olympics. Flag bearers represent their countries. If an athlete wins a gold medal they are very good at that sport. if an athlete wins  they will celebrate. runners run a long distance and a lot  of laps before finishing 1st 2nd 3rd. Usainbolt is the fastest man in the world swimmers are able to hold their breath for a long time. Swimmers must reach the wall to win kick, armstrock.                                                                  to represent your country you have to be very good at that sport.
